New in 0.3Voice dictation and translation

Your other PC is one click away.

Copy on one PC, click the pill, and it’s on your other PC, ready to paste. Now you can also speak, and Clipee types it where your cursor is.

For Windows 10 and 11 · $10 once, for life · See it work

An animation: on a laptop, the line “Meeting moved to 3:30 on Thursday” is selected and copied. The send pill appears beside the pointer, the pointer opens it and picks the Office PC, and the line is pasted on the Office PC.

Spoken corrections

Ums out. Corrections in.

Talk the way you talk. “Um” and “uh” go, and when you correct yourself, only the correction is typed. Nothing is reworded, and no word is added.

Examples of what Clipee changes as you dictate: “um” is dropped; a word said twice is kept once; “github” is spelled GitHub, as in your words to recognise; “Tuesday, no, Wednesday” keeps Wednesday; and “scratch that” takes the sentence back.

An example. Said: “um so the review moves to Tuesday, no, Wednesday at 3:30 and uh can you send the the slides to John, sorry, I mean Mary”. Typed: “So the review moves to Wednesday at 3:30 and can you send the slides to Mary?”

Just say it.
Clipee types it.

Tap Ctrl + Win in any app and speak. Each phrase lands where your cursor is, a moment after you pause: in your email, your chat, your notes.

An animation: Ctrl and Windows are pressed, the voice bar opens at the foot of the screen, and what is said is typed into Mail, a team chat and Notes, one phrase at a time.

Try the voice bar

Say it wrong. Say it again.

Press the keys, pick a correction, or turn on Hey Clipee. Tap Ctrl + Win and speak, or hold it while you speak.

Tap it and speak, or hold it while you speak. Try the real keys too.

Say a correction

Optional. Only the bar’s level moves with your voice: this website never records, uploads or transcribes what it hears.

Corrections work while “Remove ‘um’ and ‘uh’” is on, as it is unless you turn it off. They are plain rules for what you say: Clipee never rewords you and never adds a word. More about dictation

Translation

Say it once. Insert it in 29 languages.

From the voice bar, translate what you said into Hindi, Bengali, English or 26 other languages, each shown by its own name. Then insert it or copy it.

Sample translation on this page. Clipee translates into all of them on your PC.

हिन्दी

नमस्ते सैम, मीटिंग अब गुरुवार को 3:30 बजे होगी।

Hi Sam, the meeting moved to Thursday at 3:30.

Numbers and names are checked.

Every number you said must come through, and no new one may appear. In testing, “change the port to 8080” came back as a sentence about 1980; Clipee refused it. A translation that may have lost a name is marked for you to check before you insert it.

Your PCs

Pair your PCs once.

Your office PC, your home PC, your laptop. One shows a code, the other types it in, and from then on each is one click away in the send pill.

An animation: the laptop shows a nine-digit code, the Office PC types it in, and the two are paired.

Questions about pairing

Privacy

Your voice never leaves your PC.

  • Runs on your PC.

Dictation and translation run entirely on your PC. Your voice, your words and their translations never leave it, and are never saved.

  • Works offline.

Once the models are downloaded, dictation and translation work without an internet connection. No API key, no per-use cost.

  • Never into password fields.

Nor into a window you switched to while it was working. The text waits in the voice bar, with Insert and Copy.

  • Your clipboard, put back.

After every insert your clipboard is put back as it was, and dictations are not added to your clipboard history.

  • Straight to your other PC. Encrypted on the way. Even when a relay helps, it can’t read it.

  • We never get a copy. Our servers only help your PCs find each other.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

All questions
What is Clipee?

A small Windows app that sends what you copy to your other PC: copy, click the pill, pick a PC. It also types what you say, in any app, where your cursor is.

Is my voice sent anywhere?

No. Dictation and translation run entirely on your PC. Your voice, your words and their translations never leave it and are never saved.

Is “Hey Clipee” always listening?

Only if you turn it on, in Settings > Voice & translation; it is off until you do. While it is on, the microphone stays open and Windows shows it in use. Nothing it hears is saved, logged or sent.

How do I connect my PCs?

Once. On one PC, choose Add a PC and it shows a nine-digit code. On each other PC, choose Add a PC, then Enter a code, and type it in. The code works for 15 minutes.

Is it encrypted?

Yes, on the way between your PCs. If a relay helps, it still can’t read it.

How much is it?

$10 once (₹999 in India), yours for life. No subscription.
